Description: There are a variety of interconnecting trails
through hilly wooded land. Some trails are quite easy, while
others are very technical. There are some challenging climbs
and steep, technical descents, as well as stream crossings,
fast downhill's, slate rock on the trials and wooden
bridges.

Description: There are lots of trails to choose from in
about 200 acres of hilly wooded land. Some trails are quite
east, while others are very technical, with many hard

Nebo Ridge
Length: 8.6 miles one way
Trail Type: Single Rack
Skill Level: Intermediate
Description: Nebo Ridge Trail is also known as Knobstone
Trail, although the actual Knobstone Trail (hiking only) is
further south and is not connected. Nebo ridge Trail is like
a roller coaster through the woods, with lots of short and
fast ups and downs. There are other trails that connect to
this out back trail, but they are designated for hiking
only.
Directions:
Take State Road 135 south to Story, go straight at stop sign
by the Story Inn until you see the sign, Nebo ridge Trail
Head on the left hand side of the road, approximately 3
miles.

Ogala Trail
Length: Approximately 6 miles
Trail Type: Unknown
Skill Level: Easy
Description: Minimal climbing, but finding the trail can be
challenging, the trail is disjointed and difficult to
follow. Hoosier National Forest staff is considering options
for this trail.
Hoosier National Forest does not recommend this trail.
Located on State Road 135 south between Story and Freetown.

Hickory Ridge Trail
Length: 46 miles
Trail Type: single track & fire roads
Skill Level: beginner to advanced
Trail Description: The ridge tops are pretty easy, while the
ravines are much more difficult. Trails 3, 11, and 12 have
more downhill's. There is considerable horse use near the
parking area, with less horse impact as you move further
out. Watch out for the muddy and ruddy sections they
produce. The trails are well marked, and most intersections
have maps. Bring in plenty of food and water.
Directions: Hickory Ridge Trail head is located just over
the Lawrence County line on State Road 58 near Norman.
